يقع نزل الأزرق بالقرب من محمية الأزرق المائية وعلى بعد مسافة قصيرة من محمية الشومري ومطلا على قاع الأزرق. بنت الجمعية النزل على أنقاض مستشفى ميداني بناه الإنجليز في الأربعينيات من القرن الماضي، ويضم النزل 16 غرفة مجهزة بالتكييف،  كما يضم النزل مرافق الطعام الذي تستخدمه عائلة محلية لتقديم أصناف الطعام الأصيلة من المنطقة. ويقدم النزل للزوار نقطة الانطلاق لزيارة المحمية المائية ومناطق الجذب السياحي الأخرى في الصحراء الشرقية. يستقبل النزل الزوار طوال العام.
